URec Adventure Series | University of Detroit Mercy Recreation
The University Recreation Adventure Series allows members of the Detroit Mercy community to join with peers in a variety of adventures throughout Metro Detroit.
Join University Ministry and University Recreation for a transformative weekend at Burt Lake State Park filled with adventure, reflection, and community. This outdoor retreat offers students the chance to camp, hike, and connect with nature while building friendships and deepening their faith. The trip also includes a special visit to the Cross in the Woods Catholic shrine and opportunities for prayer and reflection around the campfire. Whether you’re seeking spiritual renewal, meaningful conversation, or just a breath of fresh air, this weekend is designed to inspire and refresh.
